Operations and Online Ordering Updates
Social distance-style operations have been going well! We've been slinging salt and fulfilling orders with minimal delays, with the exception of apparel (many of the styles our designs are printed on have been backordered). We miss hanging out as a team in person, but we're making the best of digital communications to keep the salt train a'chuggin. This week we're getting ready to open our retail Spit Shop (eeeeee!) so you'll be able to visit us soon! We miss you. -Holly
We're back in action! And oh, how we missed you. We are currently operating with a tiny core crew (isolated from one another, of course).
While we strive to ship online orders within one business day, with product shortages and fewer hands it may take us longer to fulfill orders during these (really weird) times. We will update customers whose orders may take longer to complete, but please don't hesitate to contact us anytime (email@example.com). We would love to hear from you. - Holly
Due to the state mandate to "shelter in place" in Alaska, we have decided close all operations for one week to assess what this means for our business. We will revisit continuing basic manufacturing and fulfillment of online orders next week.
During this time, all customers who place an online order will be notified and offered options to either wait until things reopen or be issued a refund.
We are taking a lot of this time to focus on our families and email responses may take a few days.
Thank you for understanding as we navigate uncharted waters and make difficult decisions about how to safely operate our business. - Britni
