I'm an Alaska-born creative who draws inspiration from mountains, wildlife, and especially the sea. My work honors the memories of collecting treasures on the shore, fishing for halibut out of Resurrection Bay, shrimping in Prince William Sound, and learning to fillet and prepare our daily catch with my family.

Fun Fact
Halibut are born with one eye on each side of their head, and as they mature, one eye slowly migrates to the other side of their head, causing them to swim sideways!
Process
Hand carved block printed on 80gsm white washi paper with oil-based printmaking ink. Each piece of paper is hand torn with a deckled edge.
