Morning on the Spit prints

This reduction linocut print is artist Morgan Bloom's "favorite view of the Kenai Mountains and Kachemak Bay from the Homer Spit beach in Alaska... with beautifully water-weathered shops, beached boats converted to homes, wildlife galore, and friendly locals, the spit can feel like magic."

This limited edition (37 prints) is made from a hand-carved linoleum block hand-pressed and printed on 80gsm white washi paper with oil-based printmaking ink. Each piece of paper is hand torn with a deckled edge.

Due to the nature of hand carving and reduction printing, each piece will vary. This variation includes color and registration, and adds to the character of the final print. Each piece is signed, titled, and editioned in pencil.
