Light like a feather, wear these statement earrings and share stories about wild salmon. These dangles highlight the salmon scales we love so much and are nestled inside intricate metal filigree.
Earrings are made with hypoallergenic stainless steel for sensitive ears.
Each piece is handcrafted with love for ocean folks by Beyond Ocean in Homer, Alaska. Wild-caught Alaskan salmon skin is tanned, dyed, and coated with epoxy for a waterproof seal. Due to the nature of the material, each has a unique scale pattern and color, making them a one-of-a-kind piece. Caught by owner Morgan Edminster and her female crew aboard the gill netter F/V Holly Ann, the skin is a byproduct of sustainably-fished salmon and otherwise would be discarded.
